Stageline Liquid Lipsticks!

If you guys are looking for some reallllllyyyyy long lasting liquid lipsticks, and I mean realllyyyyyy long-lasting ones, then these X-Fix Resistant Lips by Stage Line* are the ones for you! The formula and finish is very similar to the infamous ColourPop Cosmetics liquid lipsticks, so that means the dry-ness in the formula comes with it too. When it comes to liquid lipsticks, I'm ready to deal with some dryness in exchange for the longevity and honestly in my opinion its not something that tons of lip balm can't fix. Even with the ColourPop ones, I slather a ton of lip balm before I apply those and I don't feel the dryness that everyone is always complaining about, but maybe that's just me. Both these colors are beautiful shades of pink, have a watery consistency, needs only one coat to be fully opaque and last for ages! I'd say give this a go since these are locally available and by the time you order ColourPop from local pages and add the delivery charges, the price almost come out to be the same, if not more.

The shades swatched below are 01 (lighter one) & 02 (darker one) :)

Art Deco Single Eyeshadows!

I was pleasantly surprise when these Art Deco* single eye shadows landed on my door step a few weeks back. These Art Deco singles are pretty small, which makes them perfect to keep in a palette. Art Deco stands have some great empty magnetic eye shadow palettes, that you can customize by choosing whatever shadow you want. Price at PKR 495 each, they aren't the most affordable if you consider the cost of buying the palette separately and filling it up, but let's see if they're worth that :)

These two color and shades I wouldn't have ever chosen my self, and when I was watching them, I was very pleasantly surprised by how smooth and creamy they are whilst watching and I'm happy to report that these properties transferred onto my eye lids as well. The pigmentation was build able, but I just wasn't feeling these shades at all. The grey made me look ashy and the blue, was just not being kind to my dark under eyes. Had these been some other shades, I'm sure I would've liked these more, since they really have a beautiful texture and last for a decent amount of time. For now, these are lying in my eye shadow drawer, and I sadly don't see myself reaching for them at all :(

Let me know if you have tried Art Deco eye shadows in the comments below.

The Easiest Blue / Green Smokey Eyes Ever!

When it comes to smoke-y eyes, I steer very clear from the traditional black, super intense smokey eyes because that just does not go with my raccoon eyes situation that is always going on where my under eye circles are concerned. I always tend to gravitate towards, greens and teals since they compliment my brown eyes well and bring out the richness in them. Here's a simple eye look I did using just two eye shadows and a glitter liner! How easy peasy is that?! Perfect for people like me, who have semi hooded eyes and struggle a lot with stepping out of the box when it comes to eye makeup looks.

Here's what I used -

Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Hijack (lid)
MAC Glitter Liner in Girl Groove (inner third of eyes)
Wet n Wild Eyeshadow from the Naked Truth palette (crease)

What do you guys think, let me know in the comments below :) x

Drugstore Gem - ELF Blush Palette Review!

Let me just make this my shortest blog post yet - this is ELF Blush Palette in Dark is a must have - whether you're new to makeup, are a avid beauty connoisseur or a makeup artist - you just can't go wrong with this. Priced super reasonably at $6 (I got it $3 during a 50% off sale, woohoo!) this ELF blush quad is beautifully pigmented, the colors blend like a dream, even with crappy makeup brushes and have decent staying power. There are two variations when it comes to the palettes, you can either get it in Light (I'll be getting that soon) or Dark, which is the one I have.

From a nude-peach, to a bright pink and two darker shades which come in matte and shimmer finishes, this blush palette really does have all the shades you would need! I love mixing the colors together to use it year round. I know it's a big claim, but I would rate this palette higher than my Tarte Holiday Collection blush palette which was more than 4 times the price, yet it sits unused and unloved in my makeup drawers. The ELF Blush Palette comes with a beautiful colossal mirror inside and super convenient portable packaging that won't break during travel wear-and-tear!

All in all, there is nothing for you to lose, just get your hands on this gem and you can thank me later!
