Review-Rimmel Hide the Blemish Concealer

Rimmel Hide the Blemish concealer has to be the worst concealer ever in the history of concealers. Lathering it on or using it sparingly, nothing would cover either your under eye circles or your blemishes.

Although creamy at first, it dries out pretty quickly and starts to crack and break off bit by bit. I tried using this on my blemishes a few times and every time, this concealer would leave my blemishes incredibly dry around the edges with a small circle of dryness surrounding them which would bring about a lot of unwanted attention to the area. With my dark circles, it did not do much even on the days that I had the least amount of dark circles. Applying, or not applying brought about almost the same results. I could write this post all day and bash the crap out of it , but what’s the point. Maybe the reason that I’m so incredibly annoyed with this concealer is because I had read only rave reviews of it everywhere and had expected quite a lot from it. Guess all my expectations went down the drain and more..

Price- Rs. 440

What do you guys think? Ever tried this concealer? What is your HG concealer that you just can't live without? Let me know in the comments below (:

Until next time, tc.

  3. Thanks for sharing this! Its very difficult to get 'the perfect concealer'. I conceal dark circles with foundation one shade darker than my skin tone. It works for me. You can try it out, if you like :)

  6. You are so right! I have this too and find it so drying and useless :( plus I don't think stick concealers are any good, I would suggest a liquid, creamy one. For my dark circles I use Rimmel match perfection concealer and for blemishes I use natural collections cover up cream (not available in pakistan, soryy).
Most concealers in liquid form work well for blemishes so look for that when shopping the next time :)

    1. Now i really have to buy the match perfecting one! everyone's always suggesting it. Oh have you tried the collection 2000 lasting finish concealer? You-Tubers from the UK are raviiiing about it all the time.
Thanks for your suggestion, will keep them in mind when I am out concealer shopping haha

    2. no haven't tried the collection 2000 one, but yeah people really love it. The only reason I didn't get that was because it wasn't available at that time else it was one I really wanted to get :)

  11. Hey, just wanted to share with you one good use that I found for this concealer recently. I have it in natural beige, so it kinda has pinky undertones. I am warm toned so it makes my dark circles look greyish-white ( I never use it there lol) but I discovered that the dull skin around the mouth are and the sides of the nose instantly brightens up when I apply just a little with concealer brush.
This concealer is not good camouflaging but works well when used as a brightner :)

  12. I am about to tell you about blemishes? Underestimate blemishes at your peril. Cited by many as the single most important influence on post modern micro eco compartmentalize, blemishes is featuring more and more in the ideals of the young and upwardly mobile. The juxtapositioning of blemishes with fundamental economic, social and political strategic conflict draws criticism from the over 50, many of whom fail to comprehend the full scope of blemishes. In the light of this I will break down the issues in order to give each of them the thought that they fully deserve
